This LDO MCP1703-5002E/DB linear regulator from Microchip Technology gives you control over the voltage levels of your circuit. Its typical dropout voltage at current is 0.33@250mA V. It has an overall accuracy of ±2 %. This voltage regulation device's single output can produce a current up to 0.25(Min) A. It only needs a voltage of at least 2.7 V while not exceeding 16 V to effectively power your circuit. With a fixed output that has a voltage of 5 V, this is power management at its best. Using a load regulation of 1%(Typ) and line regulation of 0.1%/V(Typ) is needed for a programmable DC power supply.
