STMicroelectronicsST3232BTR Bus Line TransceiverBusleitungs-Transceivern

Dual TTL/CMOS logic to RS-232 transmitter/receiver bridges for speeds up to 300kbps guaranteed data rate

The ST3232BTR are dual drivers with each driver providing a bridge between standard TTL/CMOS and RS-232 communication lines. The independent drivers can provide operational speeds of 300 kbps as a guaranteed minimum with a typical data rate of 400 kbps providing plenty of speed for everyday RS-232 applications. The supply current of 300 µA ensures that power consumption is kept to a minimum while the 6-V/µs minimum slew rate ensures high data rates. The ST3232BTR meets EIA/TIA-232 specifications down to 3 V and is housed within a TSSOP16 package while only requiring five external capacitors to operate.
