Switch from an AC voltage to a DC voltage using a Schottky diode STPS20H100CR rectifier from STMicroelectronics. In order to ensure parts aren't damaged by bulk packaging, this product comes in tube packaging to add a little more protection by storing the loose parts in an outer tube. This rectifier has an operating temperature range of -65 °C to 175 °C. Its peak non-repetitive surge current is 250 A, while its maximum continuous forward current is 20 A. It is made in a dual common cathode configuration.
