Use this usb power distribution switch TPS2066CDGN USB powered Ethernet switch from Texas Instruments to control which one of your devices draws power. Using the part will provide the power your application needs by requiring a voltage only of 4.5 V and not exceeding a voltage of 5.5 V. Its current limit is 1.61 A.
