VishayWSKW0612L5000FEA | WSKx Power Metal Strip® ResistorsWiderstand, fest, Oberflächenmontage, einzeln
4-terminal design allows for 1 % tolerance down to 0.0005 Ω; High power-to-footprint ratio
Product Overview
Vishay's WSKx Power Metal Strip® current sense resistors are constructed with a kelvin 4-terminal layout that separates the current path from the sensing point, which reduces measurement error due to contact resistance and improves measurement accuracy. This feature also reduces the amount of in-circuit copper, reducing the temperature related effects of copper’s 3900 ppm temperature coefficient. So, along with the 4-terminal design reducing the temperature coefficient, it also enables the resistor to have tolerance values <1%. With the WSKx..18 series, you will be able to get 2x the power rating of the standard WSKx.
With Vishay’s WSKx Power Metal Strip® resistors, you will be able to get increased measurement accuracy and reduced TCR.
