- TPS40007EVM-001, Evaluation Board for the TPS40007-Based Converter Delivers 10-A Output. The TPS40007-Based Converter Delivers 10-A Output. TPS40007 is a voltage-mode, synchronous buck PWM controller that uses proprietary Predictive Gate Drive technology to wring maximum efficiency from step-down converters. This controller provides a bootstrap circuit to allow the use of an N-channel MOSFET as the topside buck switch to reduce conduction losses and increase silicon device utilization
